Ready to assemble - as all of our cabinetry come all plywood construction and dovetail maple interior, our RTA lines are stock cabinets, installed as is. We do offer more customizable options but all are top quality!
We apply a 15 year dry treat stain proof sealer on all of our natural stone.
We recommend a small amount of soap and water. Using a sponge, combine dish soap and warm water to create a thick lather, then start cleaning. Granite is prone to scratches, so stay away from abrasive pads. Using Windex, vinegar, or bleach too often will erode the sealant and make the granite look dull.
We have a variety of sinks on display and in stock.
Originally founded in 2001, Smoky Mountain Cabinetry has grown into a group of accomplished local artisans that take great pride in their work, as well as Western Carolina University accredited graduate interior designers and skilled stone fabricators with more than 20 years of expertise.
Granite is an natural stone that is naturally extracted in large blocks, split into slabs, had the spaces between them filled with resin, and then polished to a smooth surface. Quartz is a man-made stone made out of 7% to 10% resin and 90% to 93% crushed natural quartz. Because quartz contains resin, the manufactured stone is firm, flexible, and nonporous. It is stain- and crack-resistant, but too much heat can harm it.
Level 1 granite is meant to be the most accessible and affordable type but has a more uniform look. Granite that is graded as level 2, or mid-grade, has outstanding quality and aesthetic appeal. Granite classified as level 3 has exceptional quality and distinctive patterns. All levels of granite unexpected durability makes it an essential feature for any kitchen with heavy usage. Because the material is heat-resistant, placing it close to a cooktop or momentarily resting a hot pan on it won't damage it. Granite is a very strong substance that also resists scratches.
Quartzite countertops are made from precisely cut quartzite, a naturally occurring porous stone. Quartzite resists heat, stains, and chips in addition to these other qualities. Quartzite is a fantastic material for your countertop in the kitchen.
